“I was glad when they said unto me: we will go into the house of the Lord” Psalm 122 v1
Prayer plays a significant role in the spiritual life of All Saints. We believe this is a House of Prayer with a unique history and centuries of prayerful witness.
To this end, in addition to our intercessionary prayer during services, there is a weekly “prayers at the pub” which take place on Wednesdays at 10am at the Alfred Munnings pub in Mendham. Please feel free to come along and join our dedicated team.
Or if you prefer, prayer requests can left in the box on the altar of the Lady Chapel (these are picked up on Wednesday mornings and included in that day’s prayers) or through the online form below. We can pray that God may give strength, healing, thanksgiving or wisdom to you or someone you know. Thank you for giving us the privilege of praying for you.
There is also a special place for prayer in the Lady Chapel – our Church is open daily. We have put together a little book of prayer which you will find there which you may find helpful.
Loving God, you have called us in Jesus
to continue his work of reconciliation and to reveal your love and mercy to the world.
We pray especially for the parishes in our benefice.
Forgive us the sins that tear us apart;
Give us the courage to overcome our fears and to
Seek the unity which is your gift and your will;
Through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord.
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
